VRChat Avatar & Assets Terms of Use

When purchasing assets from me, you may chose from one or more licenses. Licenses cannot be transferred and may be revoked. Specific assets may have exceptions to these rules. Consult the product description for more information. For clarification of the rules or a request for an exception, contact me. Failing to follow these terms will result in licenses to all my products being revoked without refund and you will be permanently restricted from purchasing any of my products. If you are distributing any modifications or avatars featuring my assets, you must immediately cease the sale of the product or remove my assets from the product. If you have public avatars featuring my products, you must make them private. My VRChat products may only be used on VRChat avatars and animation software like Blender or MMD for use with your VRChat avatar. Use in VRChat worlds, video games, websites, or other software is not allowed, unless explicitly specified. If you wish to use my assets in these contexts, purchase them from my CGTrader store or contact me. Purchasing a product featuring other assets created by me or other creators does NOT grant you a license to those assets. You may only use these assets as part of the asset or avatar you've purchased. You may not rip, extract these assets and use them in another asset or avatar. You must purchase a license from the original creator if you wish to use it outside of that context. You may not redistribute any of the product files you've purchased as-is or modified. Commercial asset license allows you to use parts of my assets on for-sale avatars. The price of your for-sale avatar must not be less than the price of equivalent personal license for the product you're including, e.g. if a product has a "Lite" and "Full" variants for personal and commercial license and you are including assets from the "Full" variant, your avatar must not cost less than the equivalent personal variant. You may not redistribute your for-sale avatars with any tools that allow for installation of my assets on other avatars. If you wish to distribute modifications to my products, you must distribute as little of my assets as possible, utilizing patching software. Your customers must own the original product to use modifications of my products but may use the assets created as part of the modification by themselves, e.g. clothing set designed for one of my avatars must require the customer to purchase the original avatar, but may use this clothing set on another avatar without purchasing the original avatar. You may not claim my assets as yours and must attribute me and my asset by linking to the store page or plain text username + asset name where sharing links is not available. When gifting a product, the Discord username, VRChat username, and store page (for commercial assets) must belong to the recipient of the gift, not the person purchasing it. Providing inaccurate details at checkout is violating the Terms of Use. You may not use any of my products to create or appear in any content discussing or promoting violence, religion, discrimination towards any group, sexuality and/or gender identity, gambling, cryptocurrency or any products related to it, artificial intelligence/machine learning/transformer models or related concepts.

Asset licenses

Assets include a collection of models, textures, materials, sounds, animations, and software sold as a package to be used in avatar creation. If you are commissioning an avatar, you must own the asset, the artists does not need to purchase the asset. They are allowed to use the asset only on your avatar.

Software License

Software created by me is sold as a single seat license. You must purchase one copy of the software for every person utilizing it. Once a person leaves your team, they may no longer use this software using your license and you may give access to another person on your team using this license. Your team members may use this software using their own personal license without you having to purchase licenses for additional seats.

Avatar License

Avatars include a collection of assets meant to be used as a single piece as an avatar. Avatars created by me may only be used inside of VRChat and animation software used to animate your avatar, like Blender or MMD. If you wish to use my avatars in your content (e.g. YouTube videos, Twitch streams, adult content, television), you must purchase one avatar for every person using this avatar in your content.
